I was born three months premature on March 15, 1985. I was given a five percent chance of surviving delivery, but despite weighing a mere pound and a half, I somehow managed to pull through. I am totally blind as a result of my premature birth, but thankfully, that is the only lasting affect. I have never allowed my blindness to prohibit me from accomplishing my goals.
I completed my degrees in music and English at Chatham College, and graduated in December 2006. As of August 27, 2007, I'm a student at The University of Pittsburgh, where I'm pursuing a masters in rehab counseling.
However, I will never relinquish my dream of singing professionally. Music has always been a part of me. I began singing at age twelve, and haven't stopped since. I often perform as a soloist at many academic and church functions, and I received a voice scholarship from Chatham College while I was a student there. I enjoy singing all genres of music, from country to Broadway to classical. I created this website in an attempt to promote my music. If you enjoy the music samples on this site, please consider hiring me to perform at your event.
